“I don’t want to leave a legacy; I don’t care if they remember me… Only Jesus.”
– From The Band Casting Crowns Song-Only Jesus
Only Jesus
Names fade. Legacies crumble. Ministries rise and fall. But one name remains forever: Jesus.
That’s why you won’t find my name on this website. Who I am doesn’t matter — I’m only a vessel. What matters is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords-Jesus Christ. My life, my story, my voice — they exist to lift up His name, not mine.
I know what it feels like to be hopeless, to be so weary that giving up feels like the only option. But I also know the power of an encounter with the living God through Jesus Christ. That single encounter shifted everything: despair became purpose, brokenness became healing, emptiness became life. And because of that love, I cannot stay silent. I have to testify to His mercy, His grace, and His reality.
Casting Crowns captures this heartbeat in their song Only Jesus:
“I don’t want to leave a legacy; I don’t care if they remember me… Only Jesus.”
That’s the cry of my heart: not to be remembered, but to make His name known, loved, and worshiped.
Reflection
Life is not about our achievements, recognition, or the legacies we leave behind. It’s about pointing to Jesus — the One who rescues, transforms, and gives life. Every story we tell, every gift we use, even our seasons of pain, can become a platform to magnify His goodness and glory.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for taking me from despair to hope, from brokenness to new life. May my life always point away from me and toward You. Let my words and actions testify to Your mercy and grace. Thank You for the privilege to be one of Your ambassadors of reconciliation.
I pray for every person who reads the things on this website and does not know You, that Your Spirit would draw them to Yourself. May they encounter Your love, mercy, grace, and transforming power — and be made new in Your image.
And for my brothers and sisters who already belong to You, Lord, I pray for renewed strength, joy, and boldness. Remind us daily of the hope we have in You, and help us to live as lights in a dark world. May our unity and love bear witness to the truth of Your gospel. Teach us to encourage one another, to build each other up in faith, and to walk humbly as servants of Your Kingdom.
Amen.
2 Corinthians 5:21
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (ESV)
